What Happens If You Cancel
Your memories are yours forever. We will never delete them.
If you cancel your membership or a payment stops, nothing bad happens to your memories. Here's exactly what to expect — no surprises, ever.
First 30 days — full access
Everything keeps working exactly as before. You can view, upload, edit, share, and download — plenty of time to change your mind or update your payment. We'll send a friendly reminder before the 30 days end.
After 30 days — Preserved Mode
Your account rests safely in Preserved Mode. Your memories stay stored and viewable, and a scan shows a gentle note that the stone is preserved. You simply can't add or edit content until you reactivate. Think of it as your memories resting on a shelf — always there, always yours.
If everything lapses — Archived Mode
If no plan is ever started and no payments are made, your account eventually moves into Archived Mode. Your memories are placed in secure long-term storage and are still never deleted. Viewing is paused while archived, but you can still download a free copy anytime — a restore from long-term storage may take a short time to prepare (typically up to 24–48 hours).
Coming back anytime
You can bring an archived account back to life whenever you're ready by resuming a membership or Preservation Plan. Because we kept your memories safe the entire time, restoring an archived account includes a one-time Reactivation Fee based on how long it was archived:

The Reactivation Fee is a one-time charge added when you reactivate, in addition to your chosen plan. It covers safely holding and retrieving your memories while your account was archived. Once reactivated, everything is restored exactly as you left it.
Keep your stones fully active
Don't need a full membership but want your stones to stay live and scannable? Switch to the low-cost Preservation Plan, priced simply by how much you're preserving. Most people fit comfortably in Keepsake or Family.

If you ever get close to your storage limit, we'll simply let you know and offer the next tier — we never delete anything to make room. Change tiers or upgrade back to a full plan anytime.
Download your memories free, anytime
No matter what — active member, grace period, Preserved Mode, or archived — you can export and download a complete copy of all your memories at no charge, with no membership required. Your memories belong to you, and you can always take them with you.
We never delete on our own
Your memories are only ever removed if you ask us to. There is no automatic deletion — not after you cancel, not ever. If you ever want everything permanently removed, just contact us and we'll take care of it.
Come back anytime. Reactivate and everything picks up right where you left off — nothing is lost.
