Memory Stones was made to protect the people and moments you love — and that promise doesn't depend on us being around forever. Here's what we guarantee, in plain words.
Your memories are yours
Every photo, recording, video, and message you store is yours. We don’t claim to own it, and we will never delete your memories on our own — not for inactivity, not to save money, not ever. The only time anything is removed is when you ask us to.
Download everything, free, anytime
No matter what’s happening with your account, you can export a complete copy of your memories at any time, at no cost. They come in everyday file types — regular photos, audio, video, and documents — so they’ll still open on any device, with or without us, for years to come.
If we ever have to close, you’ll know early
If Memory Stones ever had to shut down, we would tell you well in advance — at least 90 days — by email and inside the app, and we’d remind you more than once. You’d have plenty of time, and one simple button, to download everything you’ve saved. Nothing would disappear without warning.
Your memories will never be sold off
If our company is ever sold, merged, or runs into financial trouble, your memories will not be treated as a company asset to be sold. Anyone who ever took over the service would have to honor these same promises — or your memories would be returned to you and kept safe in the meantime.
A safe place to land
For anything not downloaded in time, we plan ahead so your memories have a safe place to go — held by a trusted partner under the same protections, never simply switched off and lost.
The short version
We never delete your memories on our own. You can download a free copy anytime. If we ever close, you get at least 90 days' notice. And your memories will never be sold as a company asset. They're yours — for good.
