WHAT YOU CAN DO
A quick tour of everything Memory Stones can do — from filling a stone with photos and spoken stories, to sharing it with family, to making sure the memories last for generations.
A stone can hold photos, videos, and spoken stories — as many as you like.
Open a stone and use “Add Files” to upload photos, videos, audio, or PDFs. Group them into folders like “The wedding” or “First year.”
On any stone you’ll find “Record a voice memory.” We give you a gentle prompt — like “Tell the story of this day” — and you record right on the page. Listen back, then save it to the stone. Great for capturing a story in someone’s own voice.
Hide a photo or video until a future date — a note that opens on an 18th birthday, say. Visitors see that something is waiting; only you can open it early.
The stones are meant to be seen, picked up, and scanned.
Browse clear vases, bowls, and jars made to keep your stones on view — and add an engraving like a family name or a few sentimental words.
See display containers →Weddings, new babies, memorials, graduations and more — each with its own colour and engraved symbol, and personalized with a name and date.
Browse occasions →Keep a stone private to family, or open it up — you decide, and you stay in control.
On a stone’s “Manage Access” page, make it public (anyone who scans can view), family, or a select few. Add people by email — they get access automatically when they sign up.
When someone scans a private stone they’re not on, they see a friendly screen and can ask you for access with a short note saying who they are. You approve (view-only or full) or decline from your review inbox. You can also switch requests off for any stone.
People you share a stone with can add photos or record a voice memory of their own. Their additions wait in your review inbox until you approve them.
You’ll get an email when someone asks for access, when family adds a memory, and when a request you sent is approved — so you don’t have to keep checking.
Memory Stones are meant to outlive us. These features keep your memories safe for the long run.
Name someone to inherit your stones — for your whole account or per stone — and choose whether they become the owner or just get to view. Hand them over yourself anytime, or set an inactivity safety net: if you don’t sign in for a chosen length of time, we’ll remind you, then pass your stones on so the memories carry on.
Set up legacy planning →Keep your own copy anytime. “Download a backup” on your dashboard saves every stone’s files as one ZIP, organized into folders with a readable index. You can also download a single stone from its settings.
Set up a stone full of memories and give it to someone — they unwrap it and it becomes theirs.
